SureDome tiles are designed to be wet set in fresh concrete.
1. Thickness of concrete under panel shall be increased by one (1) inch in depth, prepare and properly compact sub grade. (consult local building codes for proper sub grade and compaction details)
2. Concrete specified to a maximum 4 inch slump.
3. Brush front of tiles with Dawn dish soap or equivalent, with or with out added water.
4. Pre-dampen back side of SureDome tile with water, scrub coat of fresh concrete over entire dampened surface of back side of tile to assure a proper bond.
5. Place tile backside down into prepared area.
6. Use a piece of 3/4 inch plywood, cut slightly smaller than the tile, placed over the top side of the SureDome tile to protect surface. Using a rubber mallet, surface vibrator or hand pressure set tile to proper elevation. DO NOT USE HAMMERS TO INSTALL TILES.
7. In instances where multiple SureDome tiles are used simply set tiles tightly side by side, Expansion is not an issue.
8. Clean any excess cement from surface after tile has been placed. Dawn should make this procedure easy.
9. Clean any fresh dried concrete residue off SureDome panels, use a wire brush and clean water. Dawn should make this procedure easy
